Meet With a Career Counselor

The Career Management Center is available for in-person and virtual appointments with business degree-seeking students at the undergraduate and graduate student level as well as degree-conferring alumni of the College of Business.

NOTE: Undergraduate Business Minors and Certificate-only undergraduate and graduate students receive career support at the CSU Career Center, Lory Student Center Rm 120.

Schedule a Career Counseling Appointment in Handshake by clicking Online Scheduling. Current students: login with your NetID, then select the Category College of Business (Career Management Center). Follow the prompts to choose a preferred appointment medium, appointment topic, and date/time.

All career counseling appointments take place virtually during summer (May 18-August 21). No in-person appointments are available. We look forward to meeting with you!

Virtual appointments meet using Handshake’s web meeting function. Access your meeting link in Handshake at the time of your appointment.

In-person appointments during the Fall and Spring semesters meet in the Career Management Center, Rockwell West, Room 210.

Open Drop-In Hours (NOT AVAILABLE IN SUMMER – BY APPOINTMENT ONLY)

Do you have a shorter question that will only take a few minutes to answer? Open Drop-In Hours are available for business students to meet for 10-15 minutes with a College of Business Career Counselor. Drop-Ins are available during Fall and Spring Semesters in the Career Management Center, Rockwell West, Room 210.

Drop-In Meetings can be helpful as a starting point for exploration and career discussions, access to Handshake and other career resources, resume and cover letter reviews, internship and micro-internship information, and tips to start a job search.

  • Mondays – 10:00am 2:00pm
  • Tuesdays – 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Wednesdays – 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Thursdays – 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Fridays – No Drop-Ins (appointments only, as available)

NOTE: Drop-In Hours are not available during academic breaks (Winter Break, Summer Break, Spring Break). Use appointment scheduling (below) during breaks to meet with a career counselor.
