Meet With The Career Management Center

The Career Management Center is available for in-person and virtual appointments with business degree-seeking students at the undergraduate and graduate student level as well as degree-conferring alumni of the College of Business.

NOTE: Undergraduate Business Minors and Certificate-only undergraduate and graduate students receive career support at the CSU Career Center, Lory Student Center Rm 120.

Open Drop-In Hours

Do you have a shorter question that will only take a few minutes to answer? Open Drop-In Hours are available for business students to meet for 10-15 minutes with a College of Business Career Counselor. Drop-Ins are available during Fall and Spring Semesters in the Career Management Center, Rockwell West, Room 210.

Drop-In Meetings can be helpful as a starting point for exploration and career discussions, access to Handshake and other career resources, resume and cover letter reviews, internship and micro-internship information, and tips to start a job search.

  • Mondays – 10:00am 12:00pm
  • Tuesdays – 10:00am-12:00pm
  • Wednesdays – 12:00pm-2:00pm
  • Thursdays – 12:00pm-2:00pm
  • Fridays – No Drop-Ins (appointments only, as available)

NOTE: Drop-In Hours are not available during academic breaks (Winter Break, Summer Break, Spring Break). Use appointment scheduling (below) during breaks to meet with a career counselor.

Online Appointment Scheduling in Handshake

Schedule a Career Appointment in Handshake by clicking Online Scheduling. Current students: login with your NetID, then select the Category College of Business (Career Management Center). Follow the prompts to choose a preferred appointment medium, appointment topic, and date/time.

Scheduling Options:

  • Appointments (45 minutes): Offered throughout the week (Monday-Friday) as available. These longer appointments are best for more comprehensive career support, such as career exploration, developing a strategic internship or job search plan, or handling multiple priorities in a single session.
  • Mini Meetings (15 minutes): Need quick guidance or a fast review? Mini Meetings are short, 15-minute scheduled appointments designed for focused career questions and brief feedback. Availability may be limited.
