Receiving Academic Credit for Internships
Academic credit in the College of Business for internships must be approved by the internship coordinator in each student’s academic department on an individualized basis. For information and approval of your internship-for-credit, contact your Internship Coordinator.
- For-credit internships offer students valuable work experience that integrates with skills and knowledge gained in an academic setting. The programs allow students to undertake professional-level challenges while exploring a company’s corporate culture.
- Students may receive academic credits for participating in an internship in their fields when concurrently enrolled in internship courses. Internships are available during fall, spring and summer terms. Regular tuition applies during the semester of the internship.
For assistance with an internship search and applications, meet with a career counselor in the Career Management Center.
Receiving academic credit is not a requirement for completing an internship.
