Cloud Coach is on an exciting growth journey. The company has received a majority stake investment from an enterprise software investment fund, Main Capital Partners. Our focus going forward is to grow the company through a combination of organic growth and a selective buy-and-build strategy. Over the next 5β6 years, growth will be achieved by:
- Expanding the business and market presence in North America and Europe organically and inorganically
- Strategically investing in people and product to drive client adoption, and be the premier experience in project software
As a part of this investment, we are searching for 3 interns to join us in June 2024 to support our Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams.
How the Internship Program is Structured:
We are looking for 3 interns who are interested in a career in Sales, Customer Success, or Professional Services. We are looking for rising seniors in college who are available to intern full-time during the summer. The internship will start with a 4-6 week long training program (depending on department) to learn the ins and outs of our product. Upon completion of an exam, the interns will be funneled into our Sales, Customer Success, or Professional Services department for the remainder of the internship.
About the Sales Internship:
The Sales department is responsible for creating new business opportunities for Cloud Coach. As an intern, you will collaborate with our Sales team to brainstorm new ways to bring in business. Leads can come from anywhere: search engines, active website traffic, networking, social media, cold calls or emails, and any other way you could dream up. In this role you will assist in executing our different strategies across these different channels to drive business growth. This will be a great opportunity to see the inner workings of a revenue generating team at a fast growing SaaS organization, paving a pathway for a potential career in high-tech!
Sample duties:
β Assist Business Development in searching for potential customers using B2B updates such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn
β Work with Marketing on content creation (adverts, blogs, sales decks, etc.)
β Conduct outreach to potential prospects via email, LinkedIn, cold call, etc.
β Shadow sales meetings such as discovery calls, product demos, executive proposals
β Assist in data entry and lead cleanup to maximize the quality of outreach.
About the Professional Services Internship:
Once the sales team closes a deal, the client moves onto our professional services department where their specific requirements for implementing Cloud Coach will be gathered. This is a more technical role in that solutions to our product limitations need to be addressed in a quick and thoughtful manager since it is customer facing.
Sample Duties:
β Basic product/process support for clients while in implementation
β Shadowing professional service calls with clients
β Helping document custom built solutions and solution requirements
β Provide platform and product configuration as needed using declarative βclicks-not-codeβ automation tools in Salesforce
About the Customer Success Internship:
Once a client has been fully onboarded with Cloud Coach, they are assigned a Customer Success Manager (CSM). CSMβs live and breathe the Cloud Coach product and champion success throughout the client journey. A day in the life of a CSM can include, holding client success calls, creating and implementing account plans to increase adoption, conducting product webinars, and working with client stakeholders to drive internal growth. CSMs also assist with customer renewals, product demos to additional client business units, and facilitating quotes for additional user subscriptions. Whether through email, conference calls, or face-to-face meetings, the CSM is the client advocate, ensuring their long-term project management goals are met through a combination of Salesforce.com platform and Cloud Coach solution.

β Customer Success major preference: Will consider all majors, but business is
preferred
Nice to Haves:
β Any prior experience in any of these department functions
β Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM or other business systems
β Experience or coursework related to project management processes and systems
