Junior Analyst, Accounting and Finance

The Role

The Junior Analyst, Accounting and Finance role provides essential support to the finance department to ensure the accuracy of daily operations and financial reporting. You will work closely with the Accounting and Finance Manager to maintain fiscal health and support the company’s growth in the publishing and development sectors.

Role Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Help draft and reconcile royalty reports for external developers and licensors
Handle data entry, invoice processing, and accounts payable or receivable tasks within QuickBooks
Monitor budgets for physical goods, merchandise, and project specific spending
Research and resolve reporting or payment errors under the guidance of senior staff
Provide data to marketing and sales teams to assist with portfolio analysis and performance tracking

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
0 to 2 years of experience in a finance related role
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal reporting and external partner relations
A strong interest in the video game industry
