Internship Overview

OpenSesame seeks passionate, driven students to join us for a paid summer internship program. Suppose you’re intelligent, curious, and full of fresh ideas. In that case, this is your chance to collaborate with an exceptional team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

As an intern on our Exclusive Custom Content team, you’ll play a hands-on role in creating tailored learning solutions that directly impact OpenSesame’s growth. You’ll work on real projects, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and gain exposure to our leadership, all while contributing to high-impact, custom content initiatives that set us apart in the eLearning space.

About the Exclusive Content Team

At OpenSesame, our Exclusive Content Team is dedicated to creating and curating exceptional eLearning courses that meet the ever-changing needs of our customers. By partnering with top publishers and industry experts, we deliver innovative and engaging training programs that redefine the eLearning experience and drive global professional growth.

Performance Objectives:

2 Weeks:

  • Learn the Exclusive Content team’s workflow and eLearning authoring tool.
  • Assist with tasks like preparing videos and content for publishing and organizing course data in spreadsheets.

30 Days:

  • Support with course reviews, file organization, and creating engaging microcopy.

60 Days:

  • Collaborate with the eLearning Production team and contribute to improving content preparation and publishing workflows.
  • Help us create fun, short, TikTok-style educational videos.

Additional Program Details

Dates:

  • Start: Tuesday, June 17, 2025
  • End: Friday, August 15, 2025

Commitment:

  • Full-time (40 hours/week) for 7 ½ weeks

Compensation:

  • Standard: $18/hour

Fully Remote Role: Interns must have a personal computer and access to consistent high-speed internet during working hours.

Opportunities and Expectations: As a summer intern at OpenSesame, you’ll have the chance to grow your skills through training courses and meaningful work. You’ll also participate in enriching program events, including learning opportunities, networking, community service projects, and book club discussions.

Additionally, you’ll collaborate with other interns on a group-led project that will have a real impact.

Interview Process: IAfter the initial resume review, selected applicants will be invited to complete a creative project of their choice—such as a video, vision board, writing sample, or website—to showcase their skills and answer questions about why they’re interested in this opportunity and what makes them a great fit. This will be followed by interviews with our team.
