Description:
Ford offers two types of Control System Programming work: 1.) User-Interface (UI) and 2.) Backend Control. Programmers collaborate with each other, with Project Engineers and Customers to create custom controls for systems ranging from enterprise meeting spaces to video walls and convention centers. UI Programmers work directly with customers to capture and create their desired user experience for operating technology-enabled spaces. Backend Control Programmers understand the system architecture and equipment to program logic for enabling functionality requested by the User Interface (UI). In some cases, the Control System Programmer may work on both UI and, Backend Control programming for a project. Qualifications: User Interface (UI) Programming Training and/or demonstrate experience programming in Angular. Training and/or demonstrate experience designing Graphical User Interfaces (GUI). Demonstrate experience working directly with customers for discovery and requirements capture. Demonstrate experience with VT Pro for Crestron Touch Panel designs. Demonstrate experience designing Touch Panels for QSC, Extron or AMX systems. Backend Control Programming Training and/or demonstrate experience programming with C#. Training and/or demonstrate experience programming with Python, Lua or Java scripting languages. Demonstrate experience with SIMPL and SIMPL# for Crestron Systems. Demonstrate experience with Control Programming for QSC, Extron or AMX systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree.
- Knowledgeable and enjoy object-oriented programming.
- A passion for programing is a plus including self-learning, hobbies and fun projects you have done.
- Possessing an interest for the arts or audio-video is preferred, as it enhances the enjoyment and relevance of the work.

Physical Requirements:
This role is IN-OFFICE, not a remote or hybrid role. The physical requirements of this role play a pivotal role in ensuring job performance and success.
