Education Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, UX Design, or a related technical field.

General Description:

BeiGene’s Global Technology Solutions (GTS) team is seeking a motivated and technically skilled intern to support initiatives across GTS platforms, including ServiceNow, the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and LeanIX. This internship offers hands-on experience in platform administration, system inventory management, and the delivery of high-impact GTS solutions.

You will work on the implementation and support of ITSM (IT Service Management) and Employee Center modules in ServiceNow, assist in maintaining accurate system records in the CMDB, and contribute to improving visibility into clinical technology assets through LeanIX. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze system dependencies, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and ensure the successful execution of project deliverables. This is a hands-on internship where you will gain practical experience in systems development, project coordination, and stakeholder communication within a dynamic, enterprise technology environment.

Essential Functions of the Internship:

  • ServiceNow Platform Support & Administration
    Assist in day-to-day platform administration tasks such as user account management, incident resolution, and system maintenance.
  • Employee Center Module Build-Out
    Collaborate with the team to design, configure, and optimize the Employee Center module. Research best practices and contribute new ideas for user experience improvements.
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis
    Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs. Translate requirements into actionable technical specifications or user stories.
  • Solution Design & Implementation
    Assist in building workflows, integrating third-party tools, and customizing forms and dashboards. Ensure high performance and reliability within the ServiceNow environment.
  • Testing & Documentation
    Support the creation of test plans, perform testing to validate changes, and document solutions according to internal standards and compliance guidelines.
  • CMDB Maintenance & Data Quality
    Assist in maintaining and updating the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring accuracy and completeness of system data through ongoing validation and quality checks.
  • LeanIX Application Mapping & Reporting
    Support LeanIX by mapping applications, documenting system dependencies, and aligning clinical systems with business capabilities. Assist in developing dashboards and reports to enhance visibility into the clinical technology landscape.
  • Continuous Improvement
    Identify opportunities for process enhancements, recommend platform optimizations, and share innovative ideas to improve overall ServiceNow usage.
  • Professional Development & Engagement
    Participate in cross-functional meetings, networking events, and mentorship sessions as part of the internship program to build industry knowledge and professional relationships.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Computer Skills:

  • Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience or exposure to ServiceNow or comparable ITSM/helpdesk platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of LeanIX or experience with IT asset management tools is beneficial.

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and propose creative solutions.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software, tools, and methodologies.
  • Skilled in working as part of a cross-functional team and build positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for continuous learning and applying new technologies to real-world challenges.

Travel:

  • No travel required.

Pay Range:

$27.50/hr (bachelors)

$38.50/hr (masters)

Salary Range: $ – $ per hour

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
