What if your campus job didn’t just fit your schedule, but actually helped you launch your career?
This fall, the College of Business Career Management Center is hiring a team of motivated students to help shape how career readiness shows up across the college. Whether you’re interested in marketing, social media, or helping your peers navigate their career journey, we’d love to have you work with us.
We’re hiring for three student roles, and we’re looking to bring on students toward the end of summer so we can hit the ground running in Fall 2026.
Be the Face of Career Readiness: Student Career Navigators
We’re hiring five Student Career Navigators, with the goal of bringing on one student from each College of Business academic department. That means representation from:
- Accounting Department: Accounting
- Computer Information Systems Department: CIS
- Finance Department: Finance, Financial Planning, Real Estate
- Management Department: Human Resource Management, Management & Innovation, Supply Chain
- Marketing Department: Marketing, Sustainable Business
In this role, you’ll:
- Serve as a peer-to-peer resource for students exploring careers, internships, and opportunities
- Help promote career readiness tools, events, and resources
- Collaborate with staff and student team members to build a strong career-ready culture
- Help us welcome students, employers, and other visitors into the Career Management Center space
This role is a leadership opportunity where you’ll build communication, professionalism, and confidence while making a real impact on your peers.
Tell the Story: Marketing Roles
We’re also hiring for two student marketing positions that will help bring our work — and student success stories — to life.
Social Media Marketing Student Employee
Love creating marketing content and telling stories online? In this role, you’ll:
- Create and manage content across our social platforms, like Instagram and LinkedIn
- Highlight student success, events, and career tips
- Help shape the digital voice of the Career Management Center
Marketing & Promotion Student Employee
Interested in campaigns, outreach, and engagement? In this role, you’ll:
- Support marketing campaigns and events
- Help promote our programs and resources to students
- Collaborate on strategies to increase awareness and participation
Both marketing roles are hands-on, creative, and perfect for business students looking to build impactful experience.
Why Work With Us?
When you work in the Career Management Center, you’re working in a supportive environment while gaining experience and career momentum.
You’ll:
- Build transferable skills employers are looking for
- Work closely with a CMC team invested in your growth
- Expand your network within the College of Business
- Gain a behind-the-scenes understanding of career readiness and hiring
